I maintained a blog here for many years, most passionately in 1998-2000. I haven't updated in the last two years, and it's time to shut it down, rather than make a lame late attempt to revive it.

A decade is a long time in a person's life, particularly 21-31. I like a lot of what was in this site, but as a whole, it now feels very adolescent. I think that my teens dragged into my early 20s, and I hobbled into adulthood like a wounded dog. It's nice to have this record, but I think now that it should be a personal record.

I still write a little, mostly bad poetry. I may eventually post some more of that here. It's mostly about robots and indulgent memories of my childhood.
